Bob Goulais

Bob is an experienced senior executive and consultant having provided over 20 years of service to industry, government, not-for-profit and Indigenous organizations. He specializes in community engagement and strategic communications specifically reaching First Nation, Métis and Inuit communities using extensive networks and relationships with Indigenous leaders across Canada. An Anishinaabe from Nipissing First Nation, Bob is a well-known and sought after speaker, traditional teacher, facilitator and Master of Ceremonies, providing cultural context, history and traditional knowledge to diverse audiences across Canada. Bob has worked for Anishinaabe organizations for much of his life including the Anishinabek Nation/Union of Ontario Indians, the Assembly of First Nations, and served as Chairperson of the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation. He has also served as an executive in the Government of Ontario at the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and Indigenous Affairs Ontario. Throughout his career, Bob has excelled in situations requiring significant political acuity, change management, organizational development, communications and Indigenous community engagement.
