Panelist: Better Data, Better Decisions

Dr. Mark Ferguson is Senior Research Associate with the McMaster Institute for Transportation and Logistics (MITL) and one of the main participants in “Fluid Intelligence” a data and analytics partnership between McMaster and HOPA focused on developing better supply chains for Southern Ontario. Since 2009, Mark has played an integral role in the development of MITL’s extensive portfolio of research projects that have examined, among other aspects, the safe, efficient, reliable, and clean movement of goods and people. His current expertise is complemented by over a decade of private sector experience focused primarily on location consulting projects for domestic and international banking and retail clients. Mark has published extensively in the peer reviewed academic literature, mostly on topics related to the mobility of goods and people.
